What is it?
Using the combination of people power and modern technology, this project captures the thoughts and actions of what ANZAC means to Australians and New Zealanders as individuals.
Who we are as a people is a result of the sacrifices made by our service men and women.
To contribute, all you need is an idea, a thought or a story. Simply record a poem, a few words, or perhaps a memory. We want to listen to and learn the stories from country towns, cattle stations, the cities and at Gallipoli, Kokoda, Hellfire Pass, Long Tan and anywhere else where thoughts will turn on ANZAC Day and beyond.
There will be stories of sadness, loss, joy, anger and pride. All give meaning to the modern collective thought that is ANZAC day today, and all are precious in national memory.
